The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 作者避开了忒修斯之船问题的哲学探讨，

我很喜欢，不管是故事还是空间还是音乐，这种悲悯的呈现很对我的胃口。
设定有趣，但整体流于肤浅，披着科幻皮的爱情片，基本都在回忆夫妻间的感情。。。
今时今日如果再单纯讲述克隆人是独立个体——即便带着原型的全部记忆——已毫无新意，于是本片将这一并不新鲜的设定嫁接到了个体为家庭奉献的美国中产核心价值观上，拍出了新意。
但火候问题没有起到强有力的沉浸按摩。
