The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 就是那种先让你笑出眼泪又让你哭出眼泪的印度电影，特别适合压抑时看，所以给了5星。
为了堵住家人的嘴形婚到接纳自己并出柜的历程，很棒的LGBTQ电影，出柜的部分也很典型，拒绝愤怒和最终希望自己孩子开心的态度是每个父母的代表了，最后婚姻是为了法律为了领养而妥协，不是因为自己害怕而妥协的点特别好，男主的转变也很艰难但是自然，大陆真的早就跟不上印度进步的脚步了，中间姐姐们谈恋爱的部分和pride parade太美了，希望我们都能自由做自己。
印度在某些方面都在慢慢努力变好，至少还看得到些许希望。
近几年欧美同影已经往纯爱或者黑暗时刻反思方向走了，相对保守的印度却开始从认同说起，也是一种进步
