When he discovers that designer handbags are so desirable that some women will pay 100 pounds a month just to rent one, he's determined to have their heads examined to find out why.

Alex Riley is on the trail of the global food and drink giants. What's so special about them? How have they penetrated our brains so we recognise them like members of our own families? Alex travels the globe to find where they've come from and how they make us keep on buying them.
略微有些失望，古早的哈姆雷特，依旧带着悲伤与复仇的面具，但在蛮荒且古老的土地上，他的吼叫更像是一只野兽而不是决心复仇的王子，长镜头虽多，但沉缓笨拙，安雅虽漂亮，但与这部电影的气质亦格格不入。
和很多改编莎士比亚的成名导演一样，类型化的部分很无趣，保留导演个性色彩的部分依旧迷人。很多地方可以看到A24和导演以前的影子，看他试图用A24恐怖片的方式去重新开启“王子复仇记”，但结果只能算他成功了一半。

艾格斯在极力保持个人视听风格的前提下，尝试更大的叙事主题。在老生常谈的王国复仇故事文本，基于北欧神话，加入他的超自然元素。
艺术，性
剧情走的是王子复仇记，本来看的是异常平淡，不过当中出现了一个转折，虽然称不上神转折吧，但也算是有了点新意。虽然转折过后，又是按照王子复仇记的路数就这么下去了。
对这种风格化莎剧改编路线已经有些厌烦了，毕竟视觉冲击也不是很够，还如此沉闷，安雅是唯一的亮点，但出场时间还是少了。

用艺术做幌子，其实人类始终也不过是在为自己的行为买单，麻木究竟是“进化”还是自取灭亡。
全片仿佛一个大型单机游戏和维京金属MV的古怪结合。血腥暴力程度远未达到预期，动作场面蠢且敷衍。氛围全靠配乐烘托，恐怕离了影院音响口碑评分还得掉。[历史] [古典悲剧] 只是其中的元素，影片真正的类型更接近300和Sucker Punch。

a story about a bunch of muscular nordic dudes with heavy English accents angrily hacking each other to death ( due to the lack of a one-child policy ). I don't feel much for those dudes with questionable mental stability, but I feel sorry for the horse who got its head chopped off for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. R.I.P horse.
One should be wise enough to be a fool.
整部电影有着和《女巫》截然不同的气质，不再是神秘丛林的阴气重重，取而代之的是极端化的兽性和男性气质，冰岛的辽阔草原和电闪雷鸣为电影提供了最为天然的绝佳舞台，极具地方性色彩且同样低沉嘶吼的配乐带来了更高层次的视听盛宴，油然而生的史诗感和宏大场面让略显单调的故事情节也沉浸感十足
人心是一座眠火山 冰冷 炙热 焚毁一切包括自身 妮可基德曼在山坡上大喊kill him 因为轻视 所以可以亲吻 也可以动杀心 我感慨北欧人的感情强烈 朋友说“毕竟ad三位数 没有各种媒介载体只有人类自己的精神” 音乐震撼 层层海浪一般拍打着耳膜
有一点没想到这是艾格斯的片子 依旧是风格感十足的影调 但故事稍微无聊了一点点 画面和声音层面的质感让我很想在电影院看一遍//啊 什么时候能进电影院看影展啊
视听质感棒，画面内容丰富，几处长镜头厉害，个别画面有设计感，北欧文化和传说加的也算贴切，但北欧的壳，英戏的核，剧情一般般是对艾格斯而言，缺少女巫的惊喜，也少灯塔的癫狂，其实有在消解主人公的正义性，但看起来还是文明了些
电影行业和音乐行业一样，有作曲家，有演奏家。导演就把莎士比亚的东西认认真真扎扎实实的演奏了一遍。我忽然想明白了，真正的好东西也不需要求新求变，就这么简单明了，爱，恨，血脉，自由，放在人类历史的哪个阶段，就这么些东西。一遍又一遍，重点其实是在每个人能获得什么信息，哪些感悟，之后自己遇到事儿了，有个指导作用。btw安雅还是《女巫》里那个一见钟情的女神，让我喜欢的不得了。
