The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 追完黑帮家族剧集，再来看这部电影，觉得怪怪的，看了十分钟，弃了

越到后期越乏力，三张假钞（鸠）串联起整个混乱的故事，渲染过多的仓田健太郎也不是啥多变态的黑老大，后面的拍手情节与咖啡馆拍手call back（源自彼得潘一书），感到一股伊坂味。总之，看到乏力。
女主很面熟，查過才知道看過她主演的不少片子，只是她老了好多；
主要缺点是没以Tony为主线，而是Dick这个在剧集里没露面的人
拯救不了自己的孩子，拯救一条生命来获得救赎。真实故事改编，可惜片子拍的比较平淡。

拍的很是平淡，剧情散落，节奏感不好，有点浪费了卡司。
情节很有趣，并不是无聊到看不下去，两小时时长甚至能一口气看完。但看完之后细想就觉得挺不正常的，开始以为只是主角小说中的虚构情节，没想到全部实际发生了，更觉得无法理解。比如黑道大佬的女友为什么一眼就看上男主，三万日元为什么要交给酒店老板保存，拿到那么多钱第一时间既然是去理发店消费……
与瑞茜·威瑟斯彭主演的《涉足荒野》如出一辙，都是自我救赎重新面对社会的一种方式。只不过娜奥米沃茨以54岁高龄出演这样尺度的小制作是否值得？

这种电影，问题是一开头观众就知道他要演什么，包括会遇到什么困难，心灵的救赎，大自然的壮丽景观等等。就算导演把所有这些都呈现出来了，看完以后也就觉得平常，没什么惊喜，除非你有极强的超展开。
没看过剧听着旁白自述观影会一路莫名其妙，影片跟旁白毫无关系，很尴尬。
