The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 7.0/10。①善于赌博的前大兵+前犯人（像其他看守监狱的士兵一样因为虐待囚犯而入狱，但幕后黑手的高层都免罪了）男主出狱后生活逐渐走上正轨（有了女朋友+赌博赚钱甚多），但终因「为了帮一个关系好的大学生复仇而杀人（该人也恰好是当年免罪的幕后黑手之一）」而又进监狱。②采用了布列松式的零度表演，作用也同质，但不够简洁的运镜/场面调度、配乐（甚至配乐不少）、音响（比如男主和人对话时背景常常有嘈杂的环境声）使得影像并不极简，导致零度表演的「少即是多」大打折扣甚至格格不入。③监狱的鱼眼广角镜头运镜很有PTSD的晕眩感。
前面铺垫不够
十年前的晋江水平吧，关键是真的难以get男女主的火花，这种片子剧情都是其次，主演一定要有feel啊！
聲音和音樂營造出足夠迷人和有效的氣氛與情緒可以讓弱情節的藝術電影有更寬闊的更多維度的思考與想象空間。
單身狗看著看著就酸了😭
与《算牌人》最相像的是斯科塞斯的《爱尔兰人》，二者都在本是绚烂张扬的类型里拍出了萧索之气。施拉德那新教徒般的节制在这个寓言中显出恐怖的一面来，他的男主角的道德性即体现于这种节制，他是一个能算牌的人，能看透坐庄的美国体系里自洽的极权性，却只稍作利用以维系生活而不加追究。直到最后，他才成了真正的威廉·退尔，一个斗士。他在自由之时却似乎活在玻璃监牢里，而在监狱中反而获得了真正的自由。
当然男主一直叫女主甜心是我只想大叫职场性骚扰
