英国的《红楼梦》，虚构的人物身上，折射大英帝国的风土人情。每个人的脸上都写满了沧桑。十几年的唐顿庄园，其实已经早早不用去构建故事了，只需慢慢的等待发生就好。

并未看过之前的剧集与电影版，所以人物关系理不清楚，但是这种娓娓道来的正剧很对胃口。

某些呼应挺妙的。奶奶和侯爵曾经的美好，与玛丽和导演之间的感情的拉扯。
