很多年前，我们都觉得外国好极了，美国最佳。后来我们觉得外国好糟，美国最甚。其实都是管窥蠡测。电影里50年前理想主义就可以这么好，庆幸50年后的今天理想主义者尤在，而且处在全球影视文化的塔尖，所以才会拍出这部电影。

“你是否蔑视你的政府？”“与我的政府对我的藐视相比我的藐视不值一提。”美国的60年代是一个黑暗却充满希望的年代，虽然黑暗，但人们充满了追求光明的力气和反抗黑暗的激情—60年代是理想主义风起云涌的年代。《芝加哥七君子的审判》带我们再次回到60年代，也许只是想让我们重拾那个年代以鲜血为代价留给我们的遗产：永远抵抗权力机器对个体的碾压，永远反对体制对思想的审判。权力的侵蚀无处不在，所以个人的权利是每个人寸土必争、绝不退让的东西。
艾伦索金式爽片是真的爽，爽到想再刷一遍news room。曾经的故事还在世界的大地上发生着，但好像这样的“反抗”越来越少。
有笑料，有讽刺，混乱又有条理，法庭上还有很亮眼的台词。本来给个四星，不过冲着国内想拍也拍不出来，特意给五星。
是否存在一个民权运动电影的现象？《芝加哥七君子审判》是目前看到最成熟的，无论是叙事线把握整合的能力还是煽情的能力（沉默与暴力的对接是最显见的精彩剪辑），奇怪的是，要为这类电影做一个精彩的收尾莫非真是一件难事？太泄气了
……索金这几年，输出比输出形式变得重要了。人物塑造硬得不行，薄如纸。
索金大大赛高！索金出品，就一个字，好！！！电影表达非常好。除此之外这个案子本身也挺有现实意义的。看了半个小时我已经气得掀桌了，看完查到这个法官在此案后又干了13年一直到死，更加气愤了！而且74年的一项调查显示在此案之前他在芝加哥律师那儿的名声就很差了。好在72年上诉法庭推翻了此案的实质判决，也撤销了他跟不要钱一样发出去的藐视法庭的判决（光辩护律师就收获24枚）哦对了他还审过Lenny Bruce ，就是了不起的麦瑟尔夫人里的那个Lenny. 这样想一想斯坦福性侵案的法官在判决之后被下课也算是时代的进步了。当然，进步是美国的，xx什么也没有。

其实能够欣赏到这样的故事无非也是历史上“它”被翻身了，那些被管控，恶意压制的故事我们却一直没法看到。希望那些实施犯罪又暂时逃之夭夭的人终有恶报。
索金的剧本和剪辑依然出色，密集的信息量依然带来了等量的爽感，外加这样的全明星卡司拍法庭戏真的好奢侈。最后有点《辩护人》那味儿了。敬佩这样的一群斗士们。

Call off the revolution？
把波澜壮阔的社会大事件装进审判厅狭窄的空间里展开故事，很考验编剧和摄像的调度能力，当然对观影者的法律、民权运动等知识的谂熟程度也是一个大考验。
这个题材拍了这么多年，还能拍得这么吸引人
