The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 很传统很正统的西部片了。正所谓惹老实人，一时善念，麻烦缠身，岂料揭开不为人知的过去，终究该还的还是要还。

不是说老亨利不能死，不过老亨利的死是说不通的，以老亨利的背景，可以想见当初将人带回来时，一定将该人搜索个遍了，以寻找他可以透露的身份信息，所以，类似手臂纹身是一定不会被忽视的。随便说一下，当初《巴斯特·斯克鲁格斯的歌谣》里的亮眼表演果然是人才。
西部片的还魂，非常简单老派的故事，但就是男主这种老糙汉形象丰满了人物。
从《比利小子》到《雌雄大盗》，各类西部片看了超100部，印象最深的依然是韦恩的红河路艰，依然是荡气回肠的快意恩仇，大漠生死，各向一边，世事苍凉。

味挺正的 虽然结局和剧情我都想吐槽 但是2021年能看到这样的西部片也挺感动的。

节奏是比较慢，名字以及设定开头便会知道最终结果是老亨利肯定要牛逼一把，至于怎样牛逼一把就是这个电影的重中之重。后半段还算精彩，没有令人失望。妆化是这个电影的另外闪光点。

我虽然不知道比利是谁，但大受震撼。一个人的独角戏，跟配角一比就知道。
看个热闹，开始的铺垫太长了，最后也是不考虑逻辑了
就像是一场没有战术的比赛，以最简单直接的方式结束。
这么一个俗套的故事被导演拍得还挺好看，不容易。
