The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. This is really more of a 3.5/5 but I'm rounding the score up just to stick it to the critics.
昨晚在飞机上看了。主题音乐在疫情前通勤路上的广播里听过很多遍，一直没有机会去百老汇看。我知道我会喜欢的。男主年龄偏大是有些出戏，但是青少年自杀，心理健康这个主题是实在是太能打动我了。需要帮助不是一件羞耻的事情。如果身边有人深陷泥潭，也请不要吝啬伸出那只手。

新歌很好听…感觉是直接把musical搬到大银幕上，不太合适，但还是把我口罩哭湿了……
哎和broadway 体验差很多，删了开头的mom song和后面Connor’s dad的glove song，把president女孩的性格完全改了，family friend也不讨喜，改编的不好，选角也都不好，节奏也比较拖拉，broadway才是最好的体验

deh的影版终于出来啦，和音乐剧版换了两首歌，很喜欢anybody have a map？这次删掉有点可惜，新歌两首都还不错，感觉自己真的从头跟唱到尾，大四的时候看到这部音乐剧，大晚上哭得像个傻子，现在年纪也大了两岁了，眼眶还是微微湿润。ben 的唱功不说了，毕竟拿过tony（可以去听我宝的imagine！！！）但是ben的表演还是比较适合在剧场诶，大银幕上感觉有点用力过猛，这里强推剧场版，舞台设计绝了。zoe还是更喜欢Laura的版本的，更喜欢laura声音的质感吧。又想无脑dream一个原卡的巡演，希望有生之年能在剧院看到deh！！！！
虽然久闻音乐剧大名，但一直没看…所以就整体剧本上来说，第一次看我还是很喜欢的，一方面毕竟横扫托尼底子很好，另外主要是共鸣点太多了…剧本结构以及歌曲本身的内容对我来说非常有说服力，可能是今年新片中最能牵动我私人情感的一部

情节有点拖沓，推进得慢，演员的演技还是很在线
不管怎样我是觉得 能把音乐剧搬到大屏幕是一件很好的事情 希望这个故事被更多人知道
一个神经病大闹了一个半小时再花半个小时自我救赎的故事
沿用舞台原版的男主到电影当中，对这个角色确实是驾轻就熟。作为歌舞片，里面的几个唱段是相当好听，不过观众还是当普通剧情片在看本片，期间影厅里有人喊“stop singing! ”。确实够催泪，尤其结尾处的三连催泪弹，到后来我也没扛住流泪了。作为一个社恐的人看本片，得到的启示原来是谎言可以拯救社恐……
太不适合改成电影了 看在歌的份儿上 真的 太难看了

其实很cliche，但是作为深度社恐➕单亲家庭的孩子有被狠狠打动到。Dear me，生活不易，但是don't let go。
原本我认为这剧情会很尬，却想不到我接受了。
太可惜了...这么好的一个故事，被拍得实在有点尴尬……
没记错的话，电影删了好首歌，Evan和妈妈的Anybody Have a Map?，Good For You,还有和Conner的Disappear（这首我真的不理解为什么删！！！）,和Conner爸爸的To Break In a Glove。
