2022年了还要拍老年女性的性解放，不禁疑惑半个世纪前的年轻人真的比现在更保守吗？当然只看Daryl肉身也值了。
命题作文般的创意，看似深刻的主题表现出来过于浅显。整片给我的所有感觉都很像《魔法满屋》。
情节有点刻奇了, 各种元素的古怪杂糅——唐人街的亚裔群像、宗祠观念、女性自我、追星、欧美中学，以及一丝莫名其妙的家族传说式的玄幻叙事,想要形成创意上的对撞却没有融合成流畅的整体，就显得整部片子很散很糙很迷。
故事内容还是有点太老套了，我也没共鸣，我妈也totally不是controlling freak。就是小熊猫也太可爱了，超fluffy

小女孩电影。各种混搭。仪式最后非要回头再加上一系列闪回导致仪式不成功吗？非要把母亲的红熊猫召唤出来吗？非要关键时刻和朋友闹掰又和好吗？迪士尼的东西，越来越套路的，有点愚弄观众。
妈妈曾经也是个穿着JK制服的少女，她的熊猫最大只，可能因为压抑得最厉害
woman power，还挺棒的关于母女关系、成长与自我意识觉醒的故事，虽然难免有些俗套和东方的刻板印象，不过小熊猫实在是太可爱了。。。这个不引进真的可惜了
「虎妈猫爸」式的育儿经变奏曲，内核就挺东亚的——极强超我约束下，如何释放本我，发展自我，这种经验还挺具有普遍性的。
一开始看不下去，影片过三分之一后逐渐被吸引，看到结尾一直流泪，真是极妙的隐喻
