The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 很像恋童癖的BP和电影化的音乐剧，对比隔壁Jamie有点惨烈。
3星半。删了我觉得很重要的几首。但是我对歌曲故事太熟滤镜太重。看了免费的提前场也是有趣的体验
本来以为是最适合拍成电影的音乐剧……
挺喜欢这种题材的电影，希望那棵树倒下的声音被更多人听到。没有人是一座孤岛，you will be found

这种青春校园题材的音乐剧拍成电影有种看长篇mv的感觉
为了音乐剧给四星吧，实际应该三星，因为水准比剧差了不少，不过原剧的确很难改编也是了。

结尾疲软了，但不足以影响我在这个故事体验过的感动和反思。另，Ben Platt 诚然是大了，但绝不至于很违和；假使你连CW那种选角都看得下去，就更没理由从这个角度吐槽。
其实没有刻意的煽情，但我依然哭得泪流成河，是哭到眼泪把口罩淹没，走出电影院时一言不发的程度。电影尚且如此，不敢想象如果去年音乐剧巡演没有因为疫情取消的话（毕竟当时连downtown剧院装修都已经进入DEH模式了），我会在剧院哭成怎样一种无法言述的惨状。希望早日能进剧场痛痛快快再哭一次。
相比剧略遗憾删除了三首歌、有时引入略突兀。但结局的改编很不错，社恐演得极其真实。
期待已久的片子，可惜最终做出来的版本改动有够大的
