前面太长，后面真正的剧情感觉又在快进。库柏演的也很差，对手戏被碾压
Substance, structure, graphics. Some wins, some losses. Fable-ish story, sometimes too in the face. Cooper, Blanchett, Mara, and Colette are spectacular.
原来库珀是大男主，虽然是老剧本，但感觉主题并没有很过时，一个人是如何被欲望左右一步步登顶后，又被野心祸害而跌落到底甘愿成为异类，人性的险恶、利益与欲望、马戏团的存亡、时代的背景，陀螺的标志性怪物；或许应该再去补一下原版。

渐入佳境，反倒不觉得是一个四十年代的故事，而是在被架空的时间里。
问题多多，听说原版更好，但如此负能量的故事，你不能不竖起大拇指
可能库珀破碎感太强了，看到最后居然对这个角色产生了一种同情。战时底层的悲哀，也就只有陀螺这些老导演还愿意拍这些东西。
