The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 巴瑞·莱文森带着教科书般的发挥归来，一部没有任何废话的传记片，扎实又流畅。即便剧本脉络较为常规，但这样的完成度着实令人景仰。道格拉斯·克莱斯利用光线和声音的变化作为剪辑点，无法忽视的突出。本·福斯特优秀到，如果明年初奥斯卡男主提名没有他，那就是整个学院的奇耻大辱。
开局还以为有什么惊天大瓜，神反转之类的……结果都没有，剧本平平无奇……而且，一个本来就没有接受过正规训练、且并不那么摔跤的小怪兽，就潦草训练了一段时间，就打败了顶尖选手，这也太牵强了吧。
典型的爆米花电影，剧情一目了然，合理与不合理都摆在了台面上，流水线上的动画电影图一乐就好

平庸、俗套，如同嚼蜡。《奎迪》的动画版，剧情毫无悬念，少有的动画电影能看得打瞌睡的。比赛前的音乐模仿《洛奇》的《Eye of the tiger》。
典型的美式励志片，剧情与画风都带有浓郁的好莱坞风格，或是文化差异，国人对于不屈不饶的主题认可，不过却很难取得共鸣。仅就观赏价值而言，也适合一家老小围坐在电视前共看，获取到些许的快乐。
到最后主角和怪兽的父亲们也没出现，不可能真的遇到海难了吧，感觉会有第二部！
故事完成度及格，属于看一半就知道后头是啥剧情的对小朋友观众友好的动画片。
合家欢的剧情，真是简单到不行，子承父业的故事，毫无新意，唉，可惜了这么可爱的怪兽
除了怪兽的毛比较多以外简直平庸到无话可说。看了开头就知道结尾的类型片，中间连个爆点都没有，两个主角的形象也没有立起来，怪兽形象也乏善可称，还顺便黑了中国龙一把。唯一可以称赞的是舞蹈动作还可以。

特效不错，剧情紧凑，完美的爆米花电影。因为让我想起看阿丽塔时的美妙时光，所以多加一星。
