The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 新冠疫情下孤立无援的马前卒，终究是敌不过职场上居功自傲的马后炮。
同背景下 影片以小见大 两个人的命运 写着这场疫情的走向
本来以为主题是英国初期疫情，结果后面是对社会和政府的控诉，如果结合得好 那还是挺棒的，但显然结局太赶鸭子上架了反而显得很仓促。整个看下来略显凌乱。。。
大量的近焦摄影，大面积的虚化，长时间的一镜到底，如此风格化的摄影特别切合电影的表达，一种社会视角的歧视性选择性对焦，一种看到了又无能为力的感觉。
以小见大，提到中国捐赠的医疗物品，好评。结尾有点失落。
电影还行。
所有的宏大叙事与歌功颂德都比不上普通小人物的故事来得更有力。
那些阴阳怪气的人看个电影也优越感爆棚。

基本是小变态的独角戏 但足够撑起这个时代命题 从一个极侧面的角度 细节的描述这些新闻上的故事 尤其早阿兹海默的设计极为合理且真实 不仅是无助的救助对象 同时也是逼上战场的生力军 男女主在最后情感的最深处结合无助的时代背景情绪的崩溃是对整个故事的总结描写政府办事效率的触目惊心 在这次疫情中显得格外扎眼 数字背后的真相到现在不是反思而是避而不谈
反思到来的速度，反映了一个国家的自救能力。
这是所看第一部以新冠为背景的电影。
中間拯救Kenny一段長鏡頭有張力，電視電影都如此有勁
本片对个体在公共突发事件中的努力和无力感刻画的十分真实，一个普通人尽全力去挽救另一个普通人的生命，天亮以后就是下班回家而已，没有高光时刻没有英雄光环，这才是存在于我们身边的日常。
小变态演的把我看哭了，还听见了熟悉的一句台词。
同样都是片尾黑底白字的解释说明，用意和某些地方却完全不同呢
以小见大，一人可见一个疗养院，一个疗养院可见一个国家。
