The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 近四十年前的魔幻现实题材神作，如今是否还会再有，那为人间盗来天火的袁公？
莉莉夫妻档作品。在相对来说的小空间里，拍摄和剪辑都比较慢，故事本身的吸引性也不够，最后堆的高潮10分钟也没什么用。我不太理解人物突然的动机，显得有些无聊吧
剧情很扯，罪犯无脑至极，女权yy片
荒诞戏谑滑稽可爱，想象力爆炸，笔墨画面流畅，东方韵味十足，细想还挺有深意，不错不错
看的时候觉得仙姑很吓人 也算是经典的国产动画了
云梦山上白云洞，洞中石壁，刻有天书，袁公将其传与蛋生，造福百姓，吃了仙丹的三条狐狸，招摇撞骗，偷了天书，从百姓一路骗到县令、府尹、小皇帝，蛋生与狐母斗法，不分上下，终得袁公出手，改编自平妖传，钱运达所言奇趣美，不能反驳。
坐在电影院里，就只想猛吸一口这浓浓的醇厚的民族气息！！！从音乐到美术到故事！！真正的中国故事！！可以想象给当时的人们带来了多少乐趣！第一次真正体会到不同年龄看同样的东西的不同感觉！好几次都想哭了，感觉像小时候过年一样，纯正的味道！！
想讨论的现实问题太多了，偏要弄一个经不起推敲的剧情，难为了观众。
好象是这个月十几号看的
《天书奇谭》当然是一部很不错的动画片，比《哪吒之魔童降世》要强很多，但似乎被捧得太高了。这里的一个重要原因，是袁公的形象，符合八十年代知识分子的自我想象，孤傲，怀才不遇，只有自己才能救苍生……当然，现在我们都知道了，实际情况和知识分子的自我想象相去甚远，也许犬儒才是知识分子的主要特征。
画面很美观，不过从剧情的角度，个人还是觉得《大闹天宫》更精彩些。至于这部作品本身，反派的塑造明显比主角更生动
天书是把双刃剑。感觉反派刻画更多更生动。中间比较松散，结尾有些悲壮。为中式动画情怀加一星
珍奇的天书被锁在天庭石门之内，分明“天道无私，流传后世”，却被高束庋藏，不欲人知。
那一朵玫瑰就是女主自己，抹掉纹身就代表她出卖了自己，换取她这个貌似很光鲜的地位，纵然也是非常厌恶老公，但还是强忍，小偷给了她机会所以最后她杀了自己的老公，当她特别抒情的告诉小偷，那纹身是一朵玫瑰的时候，以为之前她对小偷的那些通情达理，设身处地，能够换来小偷的理解，结果小偷根本不在乎，索性也弄死他，借机栽赃。
看过就好了。现在才拿来看真有点觉得是煎熬。
致敬经典，这是真正的国漫之光！

抱着看“国货精品”的期望去看，画面和音乐是很用心，配音极具时代感，但剧情……反正我很有意见！没想到是个悲情结局，蛋生抱着被铁链捆住的袁公时，鼻子一酸，最笨的神仙最深明大义。
