The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 脆弱、神经质都有了。秒针走动的声音也贯穿全剧。但是剧情太跳跃了，经常进不去。
和醉乡民谣、爱乐之城相比，这部可能缺少些沉淀和让我感动激动的东西，歌词过于接地气，好听的歌曲不是太多，故事有点单薄。

与lalaland遥相呼应；导演对“舞台”的掌控力一流；加菲 is soooo underrated（心目中最佳还是Angels in American，神级本子和制作，加菲也奉献了无与伦比的表演！）
喜欢这种音乐剧附带一些人生哲理的type，可能大家视角不同，个人觉得比爱乐之城好看一些，唯一小遗憾就是最后看到本尊，感觉并不像电影中表现的那个样子

大概是年度最佳音乐剧吧，扎实、流畅，在传记片中加入了对时间和生命的探讨，只不过爱情线一如既往的无聊。
对应剧版的22~26集。大战之后的调整与训练，加大世界观与承上启下。

对于没有时间看番剧的人，看这个精编版也蛮好的。

原来说的是Rent的作者，失敬失敬，这么多年了也没去Broadway看一场。加菲演技时刻，这几年选片都很棒。以及，在这个节点上看一个纽约客步入30真的太有共鸣了！They're singing, "Happy birthday"
虽然题材一般感兴趣，三十+没出人头地的困境也毫无共鸣，但加菲猫和lin-manuel诚意可嘉，agent说必须不停write write write扎心了…
我绝对是音乐剧的拥泵，实在是原创，场面调度一流，是一个人的传记，生活有起有伏，但主流还是低落
梦想与爱情，配上音乐是绝佳的组合。
