祖孙三代的故事，亲情仍是主题。祖孙三代似乎都遗传一样的病因，一方面渴求亲情，一方面却又拚命拒绝。夏洛特·兰普林的奶奶形象很出彩，演出了她浑不吝的女光棍样子，同时又表现其在强硬外表下的柔软内心。祖孙之间的戏份一般，整个剧拍得很沉重，不好玩。
谁不是在这苦海中浮浮沉沉，每日的强颜欢笑不过是为了憧憬中阳光健硕的躯体。有什么好怕，大不了找个角落舔好伤口再伺机而行，这就是我们亲爱的草蛋生活。
