The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 两星送给老戏骨的演技，年轻香港演员演技一言难尽，编剧台词太普通了¯\_(ツ)_/¯，整体感觉就是过分简单毫无层次，香港电影得加油了
片子逻辑牵强，实现正义的手段也值得商榷，多给一星是给各位香港男星对自己的要求和身材管理，每出现一位，我都在想，哇……，他多大年纪了哦~，身材和状态还这么好~~
精心设置了暗线的双重镜像，本以为会走向《大卫戈尔》的殉道路，却用难以服众的皆大欢喜草草收场。最后为了过审自说自话拔高说教，却忘了理想主义尾声的达成仍然依靠资本对抗。仿佛是故意减弱悬疑性，把重心放在现实性，然而又陷入主流和黑色都浅尝辄止的尴尬，只达成了十分浅薄的映射，挺可惜的。
相当于TVB律政剧的水准，最后开BUG把罪犯绳之以法，看着很爽，实际上毫无章法。
杀人的那幕戏也太水了，最后法庭的戏也很拉胯。
看到廖叔和曾江飚演技，而这两位老人已经都不在了，心里说不出的难过。三观正，最后一段独白加分。但是剧情走向清淡，没有反转，钞能力了属于
还好呀，故事虽然套路，但政治正确，音乐演员都挺好的。方中信还是那么帅，一颗星给他，一颗星给廖启智。
结尾烂尾了，虽然解释了但仍然是突兀地反转，强行的胜利。并且还是大佬的胜利，本质上没有改变世界。
故事平庸，浪费了一群上了年纪的好演员，年轻的那些不太行，夸不动。

为了廖启智而看，电影里面有好多“熟人”。法律面前人人平等，印象最深是那个拿着秤的蒙面女神。“宁愿放走十个罪人，都不要冤枉一个无辜的人”，谢谢，我记住了。

剧本整体是有港片味道的，尤其对于看过《律政强人》的来说，本剧一直被调侃为律政强人的影版后续，只不过，张强仍在，与其对决的却不是KC了。
