The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 骨子里的牛仔精神，一次对于《完美的世界》的自我复制，但故事上和老牛仔近些年的故事一样更加童话和美好，也许这就是老头子越发老小老小的“童”心未泯吧 ★★☆
牛仔大爷太老了，他刚一出场我都不相信自己的眼睛，全片充满了烈士暮年的感觉，也象征着牛仔精神的没落。
可能老人家到了那个年纪都希望世界还是要像童话一样美好就好了。

一个老人、一个孩子、一辆车，很像他93年的那部《完美的世界》，只是近30年过去，这部老爷车已经没什么油了，观影中我很难入戏，不是电影不好，而是东木太老。如果骷髅人能走路，大概就是这部电影里伊斯特伍德的样子，我甚至害怕一阵风就把他刮倒了。他比《骡子》时更老了，还那么艰辛的拍戏，我已经成了哭泣的男人。
温情柔软，哪怕里面的冲突场面也看不到狠劲儿，这种已看不到什么野心的片子对东木来讲真的是当乐趣在做吧…年过九十的老爷子还能一年一次奉献出自己对电影的热爱，这会带来比电影本身更多的感动。
都91岁的老人家了，还有这么多美女喜欢，不比神仙还快乐？

哎，真是好失望，以为东木老爷子最后要去一下西部牛仔，结果这个牛仔不硬，也整不动了
东木老爷子依然创作力旺盛，可也想着休息咯～

这是一部“停留”片，不是延展。多一星当然是给伊斯特伍德。
雄鸡是硬汉，东木老爷子也是，从《黄金三镖客》到《廊桥遗梦》，从《不可饶恕》到《老爷车》，再到这一部，老爷子霸气，好电影便是如此，讲好一个故事，演好一个角色，老爷子做到了。
不得不说，剧本上实在是太糙了 ，各种剧情转折和人物动机都说不过去 ，但是作为东木的影迷，还能说什么呢，有一部看一部
西部慢调，抚慰人心。希望老爷子一直拍到120岁

够潦草，也够敷衍，估计东木的精力也的确无法保证影片的高质量了，自然规律无法避免。
