剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     分了几次看完，受限于过于地缘化的时代背景，完全同kb共情诚然是不太可能，但结尾处关于流亡和放逐的阐释，在这个特殊的疫情时期，反而与现实达成了一种跨时空的呼应。btw，虽然立意对标罗马，kb也有意在视听方面大做文章，但画面质感还是太类型片。

    不自觉会想到《罗马》，自然会比较，质感还是差很多。过多的音乐和电影元素，虽然个性化，但也有种向外输出的冗余感。更像个人影像回忆录，意义更多可能还是在于追寻和纪念，以及再一次告别吧。一些对话很有意思，让沉重的离别变得轻巧了些。因为有共同经历，对其中的感情很理解，对我来说大概也是 Beijing is one small step. The town will still be here.
