The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 查宁塔图姆总是能用同一张脸和表情演出不同的情感，也是神奇。
不可避免地需要跟原版对比了。画面和背景音都缺少了原版那种沉静、阴冷的质感。老吉的演技还是很好的，特别是在结尾处的爆发。最后情节上有一些小改动，其实完全没必要。还有就是结局实在太拖沓了，没有原版简洁有力。

有点公路片，陆军游骑兵千里送军犬，格格不入的人狗最终培养出感情。情节有点拖拉，人狗互动不够。冲着查宁•塔图姆看的。

这种题材，剧情想拍出新意是不可能的，老套平庸的故事
影片还小嘲了时下都市里喜欢以貌取人，头脑简单，没有深入了解就给任何事或人简单粗暴贴标签的怪象。
看过丹麦版再来看这个的话，实在没啥亮点。男主对角色的诠释稍微不同点，其他细微改动其实也就那样了。评分的对比说明了问题。
一人一狗的旅程，剧情比较套路，看看就好，话说为啥类型是喜剧？
前面太过平淡了，关怀老兵心理的同时，也要关注军犬的心理。
但是反差也还是存在的，比如在山林的那屋子里的老夫妻，看得出他们很相爱，也很善良。

为啥都在吹杰克吉伦哈尔的演技？演Henry的演员根本没露面就靠声音演的都比他好。
