The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 其实整部电影都在讲，为什么是他，也只能是他写出Rent。
浓缩成总集篇就更凸显出剧集整体的节奏问题。练级篇实在是都平淡了点。
滴答，滴答……一直以为倒数器要到零了，才醒觉自己还有大把时间；在知道自己原来还有时间后，生命却突然终结。一开始因为电影的神经质而无所适从，抽丝剥茧后，才发现没有比这更完美的音乐剧改编传记和传记改编音乐剧。
九柱集结，阵仗颇有点权游中各族联合对抗异鬼之势。只不过鬼灭的这一场是审判。产屋敷的门下用数字 9。无惨的门生用数字 12，还分为上弦下弦。都是传统文化中的经典数字。

倒数时刻，一部理想信念的十万个为什么。
我有多喜欢rent和Hamilton，就有多不喜欢这个，前半段，前一大半，人物塑造看得我直皱眉头。最重要的是，作为讲音乐剧的音乐电影，它不好听啊！很不好听啊！！
剧作就很弱了，堆砌大量人物关系，叙事逻辑和节奏都相当的混乱。
有点难代入，Jon本身的经历比较令人唏嘘。
主要是珠玉在前，相比类似的爱乐之城和咖啡公社，这个片子有些太文艺青年的自我感动。
与lalaland遥相呼应；导演对“舞台”的掌控力一流；加菲 is soooo underrated（心目中最佳还是Angels in American，神级本子和制作，加菲也奉献了无与伦比的表演！）
有点难代入，Jon本身的经历比较令人唏嘘。
故事简单之极，为什么还需要旁白？因为真人真事改编。确实，全篇唯一倚仗的就是真人真事改编了。感情线尤其稀碎。
虽然是传记片但也把焦距Jonathan个人的视角扩大到所有的创作者的痛苦。swing and a miss, swing and a miss, till you hit.
形式大于内容，表达方式大于故事本身。中规中矩。
