The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 感觉差了那么一点，人物行为动机没解释清楚，但节奏快，剧情饱满，主题凸显。
希尔达系列的动画太治愈我了，这一部是妈妈和孩子们的双向奔向，巨魔的形象越看越可爱。

3.5 和原本的动画比起来差了点意思 但仍然很可爱
节奏很好也很快，没看过以前剧集的也能看进去，挺好。

前面有点无聊，但是结局太温暖了！希尔达真的应该列入女孩必看动画，所有女性角色都非常美好和有力量，并没有常见的刻板女性形象，里面的父亲形象和男性气质都没啥存在感（比如主角团的大卫就不是常见的“阳刚男儿”）。这部对母性力量的尤其关注，竟然有了点母权意识，不敢相信是一位男画家的作品。

我们为炫耀技艺，“人定胜天”，在山民的母亲身上建城，她是所有山民的始祖母，她的女儿们从未远离，即使我们迫使她睡在地底，即使我们的围墙将她们隔离。我希望她能醒来，与她的女儿们在月光下行走；人类的城池终将消亡，这一天必然到来，却遥遥无期。
一头雾水的开始看，看进去后还是很容易接受这些设定的。很多都是人性的变幻。
