The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 一开始没注意片头，觉得这也太扯了……直到标记的时候发现根据真实事件改编，这也太……
挺轻松的，其他都一般，在“真实故事改编”这一系列中，较弱。。。

这个阵容让电影行进到了一个奇怪的走向，片方尽力的想让黄政民不再杀神附体以走极尽的写实风，但总体却是平淡无奇。反派演技出色，脸普通，导演或许想传达一种罪犯极有可能就是身边不起眼的人的视角，以至于放着丁青的对头都不让他来演反派。
内容和某些人物造型明显有带些暗示华人的形象。
更欢快更主流合家欢了，失去了原版那纯正的哥特味。但是好看的。

暗黑版欢乐一家亲，我还挺喜欢这个故事的画风与人设设定的，都说幼齿，我倒觉得消散时间一家人坐着看看挺美好的，关注家庭成员的内心深处，亲情是不变的核心，能抵得过任何怪兽。

作为普通动画的话还好，作为亚当斯一家这也太合家欢了，剧情既平淡又低级，实在没意思。
