好好的題材和故事非要用心靈雞湯的拍法，前半部尬得我差點想棄了，後半部好一些，但仍舊逃不掉煽情的戲碼。另，又是一個沒爹的故事。
没法评价……寰映合生汇映前出问题临时换场，没有提前公告，散场时有没有解释情况，单独询问才说明，承诺会退票并补偿一张的兑换券。没在杜比影院，没法感受这声景是什么效果，也不清楚那画面会否这么暗，也许就这样错过了最好的视听体验了。

北影节最后一场观影。整体更像是纪录片，还是没有解说的那种。画面和风景极美，故事冲突完全没有。洞穴探险的部分表现得极尽细致，中间穿插着当地一位老人渐渐步入死亡的一条故事线，总感觉其中有什么寓意，却实在看不明白。

金像獎入圍影片。非常正面的一部傳記電影，既然結局已經是只許成功不許失敗，那麼敘事上打動人心的地方就都顯得稍微有些刻意，人物關係的處理上比較毛躁，都被「成功學」和「勵志論」牽著往前，要是失敗的話呢？弱勢群體應該始終不被離不被棄才是公民社會。

非常纯粹和质朴的「cinema」，以至（海德格尔及其后的）形而上学能够显影于此间。人之一生无非是在勘探洞穴中走向死亡。「无」比「有」更原初，「真」则隐匿在黑暗中，等待被揭蔽和照亮。@BJIFF2021

关于尽头，时间与造物相会。声光色影皆美，如果不是那么严丝合缝，几乎近于崇高。
2021BJIFF最后一部。滴答滴答，是-678米深洞的水声，也是老牧羊人一呼一吸间流走的生命。片尾那几声吆喝，像招魂铃。
B+视听非常突出的电影，电影院看的话观感应该还是有不少的提升，探索洞穴与老人去世的平行剪辑创造了丰富的解读空间，

以为会睡着，但是并没有，全程叹为观止，还是被牛目送的场面感动到了。
诗意，先验，技艺精湛，但就是看了像没看一样
人类无数最伟大的科学的诞生或许都经历了无数个无聊至极的日日夜夜。攀爬，测绘，描摹……于是深不见底的洞穴跃然纸上。没有配乐和对话，于是有机会聆听自然和人类最原始的声音。纸片一遍遍燃烧坠落然后熄灭，皮球来回越过洞穴却不小心坠落其中，描摹图纸的笔一次次蘸上墨水最终呈现了世上第三深洞穴的秘密。
疫情前，家附近有个康复中心，小区里住着些为此而来的脑瘫儿童家庭，挺多次看到一些妈妈或奶奶或姥姥带着孩子在楼梯间艰难地练习走路，每次都会不由自主的鼻酸。那些孩子，能自己走路已经很不容易，更何况是站在残奥的跑道上。所以我还挺喜欢这部戏的，谈不上什么深度，但也是挺流畅挺准确了，母子之间有好几场戏还让人挺触动。三个年龄段饰演苏桦伟的演员都非常棒。
