The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 即使是构建的屏幕乌托邦，现实如果能朝向它迈出小小的一步也很棒啊。感觉就像一桶火药，等待着火焰的到来。～
开始看时觉得应该拍成一个系列，里奥·格兰德这个披着性工作者外皮的心理咨询师，过于从容有度，想看他接诊各种客人，而不是一个典型拘谨的白人大妈，这个女性形象多少有些刻意得惹人嫌，不过在最后，话锋又转向了里奥本人，让两个角色都成为了性压抑的受害者，最后加戏的在镜中欣赏自己并不年轻的肉体一段还是很不错，是挺轻松有趣的话剧电影。
非常喜欢前两次会面，女性非常需要解放被禁锢的欲望，放下对快乐的羞耻感和对自身的不自信。后两次的说教感略重。
这是一具躯体，年轻或衰老，健壮或瘦弱或肥胖。
