The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 情怀向续作，经典怪物再现于世，初代队员最后依次登场（特别是Egon的电脑合成图像），不仅让人怀念，还是一种精神的传承。老粉看了痛哭流涕，新粉看了一脸懵逼。棉花糖那段可爱又诡异，我愿称之为“邪典萌”。片尾曲《Haunted House》不错，歌单喜加一。片尾有两个彩蛋。
重拍经典的问题就是，现在看起来实在是太老套了，毫无想象力
这电影应该放在暑期档，不过看过前一版的人现在已经都不年轻了，而现在的孩子对这种片子根本提不起兴趣的。
最后原来的四位捉鬼敢死队出现了，都一把年纪了，还真挺感动的。

幽灵化的祖父、实在缺失的父亲、无法给予认同的母亲，可以说片中菲比对其祖父的追寻，正是对那一缺失的“父亲形象”的追寻，而导演也正是通过这样，影片的内与外的链接，既怀旧(影片本身)与祖父(“父亲形象”)的链接，而建构与唤起那一传统价值观念中，人们对于想象、全能的“父亲形象”的认同的。
故事推进过慢，前半段很多地方可以删去，不过后半段娱乐性和风格做得还行。

单亲妈妈没有存款，和两个孩子租房子住。什么课呀，每天都看电影，还不是看主旋律爱国教育片。驾照都没考过，开车这么猛，技术挺好的。女儿的笑话一点都不好笑。
围攻了半天，就往屋子里面扔了一个手榴弹。就算放一群猪进去都把里面的人拱死了吧
这部续集挺尊重原作，味道很对，没有过分的zzzq，故事交给子孙后代描写延续挺好的
最後一代出現以及外公鬼魂幫忙還是狠狠地賺了一波眼淚。
这部新拍的捉鬼敢死队前半段也太太太无聊了，一点跌宕都没有。后面致敬老版倒是挺意外，电影院里有很多老粉疯狂鼓掌。毕竟之前预告片里都一点展示都没有，倒是个惊喜。
小女主的黑发眼镜造型神似魔法石时代的哈利波特。
