到了第四部，几乎穷尽了故事的讲法，只能从翁婿关系上做文章，引向一场穿越南美的大冒险。遗憾的是，精美的画面、带感的配乐、密集的笑点、输送的价值并没有有效组合成为一部自洽自足的剧情。

当博士说要穿越森林河流寻找晶石的时候，我心想就够了，又是这个路上冒险的套路，不要再拍这个系列了，完结的好。
