The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 真的拍出了童年的味道。谁没幻想过自己就是那个英雄呢？通过一堆生动细节，把时代的质感营造出来了。有一种穿越时空的愉悦感。其实不算故事片，旁白一堆。但就是有迷之气质。有趣。
两个看似普通的人，就这样用自己的肩膀默默承担起了藏区孩子们的生活，这种伟大有点儿可望而不可及

能做到像男女主这样无私奉献的人真的少之又少，可是不明白，为什么到最后小学都已经那么好了，男主还是没能跟女主买一件像样的衣服呢
故事中规中矩，演员的演技和情感表达都很不错，挺打动人的。
对于米国人民，那确实是一个充满文化符号和欢乐的年代，相信他们怀念起童年都没啥遗憾。会不会是编导当年错过了直播，才创作了那么个故事，假想自己小时候...... 哈哈哈
觀影體驗挺好的，似乎童年的某個時期，我也跟這家孩子一樣，和兄弟姐妹們天天蹲電視看還珠格格。 突然更覺得諷刺了，他們60年代有這麼多偉大的電視電影，有太空夢。我們卻在90年代看還珠格格。電影有點討巧，半故事，半紀錄。 但是最後亦真與假的夢境，是電影的最佳部分。 爸爸說了一句，他希望兒子以後能告訴孫子，他親眼見證了歷史。 媽媽說，其實記憶是很玄的，說不定他在夢中也見證了。 我倒是希望這部片實景拍攝，更有震撼力，像伍迪艾倫的西力傳那樣
《藏草青青》讲述的是90年代在北京毕业的大学生韩松，只身前往偏远地区进行为期三年的支教任务，最后一辈子留在了西藏，把一身奉献给了教育事业的故事。在这里，有希望藏族孩子们能够通过知识改变命运的藏族汉子郎措、有温柔善良照顾孩子们生活起居的梅朵、有懂事好学会感恩的卓玛、有调皮但讲义气重情义的僧格……他们都有一个共同点，有一颗像草原与蓝天般清澈的心。他们是那么的纯真、朴实。电影无论是画面还是选曲，都很融合，喜欢这部片子，希望能有更多人看到，尊敬援藏人。
每个人都很真实，而且这个集体超温暖！风景如画，大爱西藏！缺点就是部分场景太敷衍（比如路塌了那段），还有主角老年妆容太吓人。
为了悲而悲就没啥必要了吧，不过韩老师这个角色塑造的还是挺成功的
再想一想之前看过的少年时代
【3星半】有点失望，就是一部对上个世纪六七十年代美国社会风貌的滤镜回忆，以一个孩童的眼光，来看待周遭太空竞备大环境下的国情民生，融杂了很多带有（美国人）记忆点的印象元素，但要不是那个国家那个年代亲身经历过来的，很难有更深一层的感悟和感慨。
电影不错，但是吧，最后怎么有一种虎头蛇尾的感觉呢，这也太悲伤了
本片不是故事片，而是上世纪60年代美国年轻一代的日常生活资料片。身为90后中国人，在片中找不到太多共鸣点，但没有一秒不陶醉在这漂亮的转描动画里。
朋友圈看到这部电影的宣传，说有时间看完片子真实的来豆瓣打下分，因为这种文艺片都靠口碑，那今天有空看了，说实话我觉得很真实，很感动，所以真来豆瓣评分了，我打的五星，四星是给电影本身的，真的好真实，一星是给朋友圈的，我看到很多说好的，却给三星？你们是故意的吗？还是咋滴，你各种好，给三星？！还有一个二货说电影假？草都绿的不自然，我tm想问问你，你出过你们村吗？你是不是瞎啊！你但凡见过一米范围的草原也不至于说出这种禽兽不如的话！电影好不好看你随意评论，你给一星都行，你缺德呗！但是你说人家草假？给低分，你脑袋进水了？怎么这么见不得别人好！这种小成本的文艺片都不赚钱，但是人家还在坚持做，要不你看个屁？天天看网红？我认识拍电影的公司和人员，但是我不代表他们，我只想说，来豆瓣的网友有点良心，有点专业度！
这部电影看了之后很感动，男主作为支教老师把自己的一生都奉献给了支教，在藏区和藏区人民一起生活，藏区的孩子们也很淳朴可爱，剧中有多处催泪的地方，拍的很真实，值得大家去看

一部属于特定人群的情怀电影，但也仅限于此。
