A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.
不同于此类电影大部分都会仅仅对过去年代的简单回味思念，电影从头到尾都贯穿着周遭的不稳定以及恐慌，其实是很真实的。有人选择离开有人选择留下，也有更多没有选择的权利，“爱尔兰人大多是移民的”听的让人感同身受而又bittersweet。（如果觉得这个电影“仅仅是从北爱去英格兰而已而很无病呻吟”的话建议可以看一下北爱近几十年的历史背景以及为什么很多人选择了离开）
“what do you want？” 爷爷那一段有点好哭。（3.5）
{★★☆} 这不是个轻松的决定：我相信Kenneth Branagh童年的图像，也相信他在镜头后忠于这份图像。但看完后数日，我脑内却难以回忆起几个这部致敬Branagh所成长街区的电影里，在那条街区上生活的被挤压、坚守或放弃的人们。就像孩子模糊的念想，贝尔法斯特变成了一个抽象的概念。有地标、有伤痕、有欢笑，却没有一个让他不舍离去的理由。

配乐奇奇怪怪，使用随心所欲，风格变幻无穷
想起了之前的【罗马】，和国内拍的【八月】，说的都是导演自己的童年，用的都是黑白影调，其实【阳光灿烂的日子】也算，无非把现今变成黑白，童年的回忆是绚烂的。这么看也有套路。
看到一半睡着了，看完剧本发现那些地方睡过去也不影响理解。全片唯一让我印象深刻的就是开头吧。詹米多南拍拍这种角色挺好的，逐渐让我摆脱五十度灰的印象，虽然一开始看还是有点出戏
不了解爱尔兰国情的，被开篇惊到。。。生活在莫名仇视的社区里真令人恐慌。。。小男孩巴迪非常可爱，他和相濡以沫的爷爷奶奶的对话总是稚趣十足，前半部社区混乱对人们生活的影响刻画生动，后半部妈妈纠结于移民，似无必要，毕竟移民去英国，无论生活品质还是安全都会有保证。。。爸爸帅妈妈美
一星半；毫无才气的作品，通篇只看到对《罗马》的拙劣模仿和各种MV串烧，细节浮皮潦草，人物形象扁平，导演没有能力交待清楚贝尔法斯特的时代背景，只能用老电影片段、新闻播报将自己破碎的童年记忆和时代信息塞给观众，既笨拙又浅薄。电影转场和故事推进基本靠播放歌曲MV的形式，也充分暴露了导演对电影语言把握上的无知
演母亲的演员有点像莫妮卡·贝鲁齐和苏菲·玛索的集合体。
6.5/10 摄影尤其是构图当然很精致，也描绘出自己对贝尔法斯特难以割舍的情怀，一个充满人情味的城镇跃然幕上，但终究还是太私人了，或许会因为某一段的纯真与质朴发笑，但远远未能达到入戏的程度。
如果站在爱尔兰人的角度去看，不难理解为什么会那么痛恨英国人
或许或许，因为我不喜欢这种戏剧化的表演方式，而这一段历史用小孩子的角度去讲述或许有点冷漠了，以及作为一段回忆参杂着浪漫，不喜欢这种感觉（Colin只有四五场戏sad)
7分，举重若轻。如果去除掉显而易见的破绽，六十岁的肯尼思·布拉纳在《贝尔法斯特》中给我们留下了什么。我看到男女在思维上的差别，从父母争执中显现了人为什么需要“家乡”，从Buddy拒绝离开中知道了曾经作为孩子失去了什么。死死抱住加酶洗衣粉的Buddy是儿童该有的样子，它要前去的是《月球环游记》的片场。贝尔法斯特是爱尔兰岛东北沿海拉干河港口，但它有另一个名字“家乡”。
音乐挺有趣的，但是整个故事完全看不进去——太轻了，没有举重若轻，就是单纯飘着……而且感觉导演用彩色的方式在拍黑白，整个画面颜色看起来非常的不和谐……
即便是个彩色电影，它也依然可爱，只是会变得很普通，最好的戏都在爷孙俩的对话上头了，不知道为什么让我想起《客途秋恨》来，自从离别故土，秋天的风就这样吹了一生。
其实任何作者在拍给家乡的电影都会因为很浓的情绪没法评价，在我心中（罗马）是封神的。本片只能拿45分。
和我唯一的共鸣就是我也要举家搬迁到月球，妈妈领巴迪送洗衣粉的举动可以看出信仰的力量，只是剧情上又显得那么刻意，个人推测本片在奥斯卡可能雷声大雨点小，最后分享结尾的话，致留下的故人，致离开的游子，致所有迷失的人
和爱尔兰出身的英国朋友一起去看的，故事的情绪很私人，我完全体会不到，顺便问了朋友许多爱尔兰历史。
技术很流畅，非常多的景深镜头运用，非常多的对比节奏的对比构图的对比等应用，蛮好的学习案例；今天赫然发现是哈利波特和密室里那个绣花枕头教授导的………震惊了
