In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 第一个，第三个故事是我最喜欢的，第二个故事结尾稍微有点俗套，第四个故事感觉是有隐喻的，但没怎么看懂。致命录像带也算是我伪纪录片的引路人了，可以的话请一直出下去
虽然这个风格是以粗糙为主，但你这个也太糙了
分段式一大好处就是遇到一个喜欢的故事的几率提高了
这很明显，录像带帮助记录了人类的残忍，人类才是致命源，血腥，重口，却也很自然而然把惊悚带到现实来，每一段衔接还是显得很生硬，反正感官上绝对可以了，尤其像我这种很少看这种血腥题材作品的人
邪典伪纪录片回归了，观感实打实的比第三部要好。年代感满满，无惊无喜，不过依旧有新意，血浆爆点在第三个故事，整体倒也不难看。
本来打算做字幕给大家的，可惜精力有限，没做完，交给BtoZ群里的朋友接手了，字幕今晚发。 说说片子，挺好看，希望这个系列一直走下去。
电影的做旧感很好得加深了它的恐怖感！看完实验室那个片段得停下来缓缓，真的太恐怖了。
印尼的那个故事不错，而最后一个故事则最闷，前戏铺陈得太过无聊了

执着于普利策的记者和赛博教授的这两段故事很精彩
VHS系列那味儿回来了！伪纪录片+邪典+恐怖+血腥+惊悚+重口+变态！大半夜看，《守灵》那个故事差点没把我送走，《改造机器人》那集的确够变态够邪典够刺激，《鼠人》那个氛围营造不错，尤其最开始那种复古画面。其他故事就还好啦。。。作为忠粉给四星，推荐观看！
比前几部多了一份粗粝与最原始的血腥本色，但故事也相对变得更加支离破碎。
总体合格 主线比较无聊 其余小章节都有惊喜 尤其肉体改造那篇 有《铳梦》的味道了。
区别于录像带系列的完整叙事的分段式故事。开头的神秘编号和挖眼珠营造了诡异气氛，下水道硫酸鼠人＋守灵女孩遇诈尸＋疯博士人机实验＋反动派生物见光死炸弹＋呼应开头的“看录像必死”诅咒。分段叙事前三个故事都还不错，气氛＋叙事到位，吸血鬼炸弹那个设定没看懂。整体属于完成不错的B级片
1=3＞2=4=主线故事，两个不错，三个不太行，所以只能给三星。
我太爱这种脑浆电影了，特别是机械和人结合那段…………这个世界其实充斥着邪恶，但却始终用美好去粉饰，这让我非常愤怒……我情愿在电影中的世界沐浴鲜血……因为它们本质上根本没有区别。
算是系列回勇之作？既然叫自己錄像帶，那這部的質感終於對了，這才是錄像帶該有的樣子嘛，所以我感覺整體驚喜程度正好是正比下降的，第一個故事挺驚喜，第二個故事中規中矩，第三個開始有點扯，最後一個就是無趣，然後到了串起整個故事的核心就直接崩了。畢竟還是不同導演的作品，自然還是有好有壞。

拖沓得要死，除了机械怪物那段，剩下的都是啥呀……这种东西看的是脑洞创意、血腥重口，你丫玩深沉就没意思了。
