The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 影子军师热烈追随甘心臣服甚至迷醉不能自拔，但并不代表主仆之间理念信条的契合与认同。博弈层递、胜败诡谲、善恶悖论、忠奸莫辨，才更具张力。
花絮比正片好看。利维斯所有正剧和番外加起来，都不及前田拳对着维斯的皮套笑皱了脸的画面来得有童话感。
故事线比较肤浅，节奏，剪辑，叙事一般化，人物塑造过于片面而单薄，整体《故事会》水平！
比起以往皮套大战来说其实还不错的，只是剧情上没有突破，看到一半已经开始乏味了。
优秀的演员用台词就可以达到整容效果，让那些年轻的、热衷“管理”的小生小花情何以堪
3.5星。全程问号脸看完，但最后竟还有些感动上头？！

硬找一个二元对立的主题其实蛮浪费这个历史题材，剧作缺乏起伏，主题本身的挖掘也并未深入。
Vice经常自嗨并且总是对着镜头跟观众讲话，好烦
很喜欢anais有主见并保持野性。
前面的叙事有点冗长，两人相遇已经是电影中段了，可能是需要更多的笔墨展现阿娜伊斯混乱无序的力量和野性吧。作家的语言很美，“大胆又羞涩”的形容很贴切。激情是没有教养，不讲道德的。
演得很好，但韩国的历史政治片都开始很模式化，以及充满理想主义的光环……
