The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 已经对这种展示东亚民族生死观的电影脱敏了，因为看得太多了，长镜头非常棒，调度可圈可点。有一句台词说男人是没有进化完整的动物。结尾的超现实没必要，本来是一部生活流的家庭电影，加这些乱七八糟的魔幻处理很出戏。
整个就是扩写版的人鱼公主，相对比较低龄，用“物质会聚成螺旋，所以我们还会再相遇”这种说法就想强行happy end还是太单纯了点
虚渊玄这是念了金刚经？一切有为法，如梦幻泡影；如露，亦如电，应作如是观。立意其实很高，但奈何放在整个作品里面就挺割裂的。
故事完整演员在线，就是美学系统有些薄弱，特别是美术

#PYIFF 看之前对片子不太了解 看的过程渐入佳境 长镜头＋松弛的表演＋阿兹海默症话题 最后超现实来的有点晚了但总算是等到了 想起来哈内克的《爱》低成本加一星鼓励。
剧本这么烂最后还是把主角写死。老虚你真不做人。
6/10。从剧作跟拍摄手法上来看，导演还是很有想法的，而且还是处女作，值得赞赏。缺点则在于演员的表演，以及不同片段之间的衔接可以做得更好，尤其是超现实的部分，这是亮点，但也容易被放大成为缺点。
阿尔兹海默、女性视角、被“阉割”的视域想象
故事太差，音乐一般，声优一般，只有霸权社的跑酷还可看。

虚渊玄属实拖后腿，剧情并不复杂，呈现的效果却不好。
只能说除了画面，剧情不敢说很好也不能说很差，题材挺新颖的，几个漫画界的大导演一起拍估计也就这样了
