“在野心勃勃的世界里，吕西安算什么呢？一个为了追逐享乐的孩子，为这些输掉了一切，飞蛾扑火一般，做了环境的奴隶”。小说原著体量太大了，两个小时还是很匆忙，解说太多了，没有靠镜头把吕西安一步步走入良知泯灭的过程刻画的很好，在邪恶自成一体疯狂狂奔的时代，可惜他没有作恶的绝决到底的能力，也没有坚持自己信仰的能力，最后骑墙难下。有一个镜头演得好好，当他得知书籍和新闻的销量全靠贵族和商人的御用文人以及见人咬人的流氓文人统治的时候，他疑惑不解地问了一句：“那文学呢？” 天真从那一刻之后就不复存在了，黑白颠倒，是是非非都不重要，重要的是钱，毕竟，在巴黎，连永恒的安眠都需要的是钱。19世纪的小说拍的过来都挺好看的。
