The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 电影本身不算上乘，但女主演技是可以争一下小金人。（男主也不错）
这个影像视觉上也太陈旧了，总是有一种给我看以前的烂片前言不搭后语的感觉，影像逻辑彻底支配了文本逻辑。劳模姐演得真好，她的第一场戏我是有点不太相信的，毕竟她演她的宣传做得很猛，但是越往后就越有一种酣畅感，我喜欢她是因为她在演戏清楚准确的同时，又能够有一种融会贯通的大气，一方面是她的意识，另一方面来自于得天独厚的一张脸，这部戏有难度，她易了容，改变了肌理，等于是改变了表情的含义，但她最后演出了一种复杂的天真（在此时我还有私心希望AA也可以挑战这个角色），她很棒，精巧的技术、强壮的意志与纯粹的热爱组成了这个表演。你看她，那种只有失败的人才有的兴奋，太好哭了。同时，妈妈也演得太好了吧，做布偶的一场戏，试衣服的戏等等，几乎场场戏技艺超群。
一个真神婆遇到一个打着宗教旗帜的男野心家，被同妻被嘲笑被卷入一无所有，但她依然乐观积极勇敢，她爱上帝爱妈妈爱丈夫爱世人，她只是极度缺爱渴望关注始终童心。啊，人太复杂了！
主题不错，但是从剧情创意和情感表达上要弱于月球和新恐龙两部，但个人觉得比伴你同行两部要好。不要抱太大期待，就可以来品尝老配方啦！新主角的颜值确实要比之前几部差，光头加刘海儿的造型确实有点难扛。同时，静香出场时镜头从下向上拍，并且洗两次澡，这是什么恶趣味操作？（剧场版不同于TV版的一个地方就是，静香才不是大雄的“女神”而是并肩作战的顽强伙伴！）最喜欢的地方是笨蛋大雄对天才外星领袖说：“虽然我不像你 笨手笨脚的 脑子也不好使 但总有一件事是你做不到而我能做到的 所以 让我来和你一起分担。”
对两人发迹过程蜻蜓点水，社会背景或者操作方式都没有挖掘。感觉就是两个表演型人格的神棍。宗教狂的好处就是可以把自己的欲望也通过绝对神权合理化，不需要自我judge就能自洽。

为了劳模姐，五星我是必须给的！！！太出色太动人的演出。虔诚的心，真挚的爱，塔米菲值得一部传记电影。我爱劳模姐！

劳模姐太拼了，演的不错，但这届奥斯卡整体水准很平。而且这种传记电影毕竟会对情节有所取舍，为拿奖而拍，看过就行了。倒是“金并”很显眼。
如果说旧版的宇宙小战争是一袋包装朴素的糖丸疫苗，那么新版的宇宙小战争就是一瓶包装精美的维生素软糖。虽然两者尝起来都很甜，但终究还是不一样的。前者是药物，后者充其量也不过是营养补剂
很普通的传记片，非但没有过人之处，劳模姐的妆容还令我感到很不适，让我在吃东西时候不得不两次中断观影，片尾原型人物并不这样。
感染力女王握着别人手时、站上舞台时，世界好像只剩下她，和身后耀眼的光芒。越来越喜欢看传记电影，尤其是没有明确价值导向的情况下，重点去凸显人物的深刻特点。

从剧情来讲也就一般，但还是被劳模姐的表演感染到，最后一曲我居然感动到流泪，太大意了，被阿美莉卡打了牌。加菲和原型有种微妙的相似，当然比原型帅好多，但也越来越像老费了。。
国配实在让我有些看的些许难堪，搞笑有些桥段还是蛮搞笑的，中规中矩，对比原版，没有特别创新，只能说在及格线之上，希望今后能带来更为精彩的作品~
仅从电影表现内容来看，哪里像伟大的布道者夫妇？？分明是一对娱乐小丑！！
repo：杰西卡·查斯坦非常出色地表现了塔米·菲强大的表演力。传教士的每一次布道都是一场小型表演，表演能力强、口才出众的人会吸引到越来越多的信徒。
