The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 调色太出色,
看完其实很羡慕，活过，爱过，画过，有痛苦有快乐，却是灿烂的人生。
一段段具象的人生剪影，视点何其散乱，如旅途中路过无数道风景：鲜亮色泽、柔和逆光、卡通式对称构图，以及升格、掉帧、叠化，用尽所有方法消解韦恩一生的错乱与痛苦。而短暂的幸福，用最简单的方法呈现即可：那些与挚爱之人同框的时刻。
电影整体色彩搭配很好看，有一帧画面是路面、老式汽车的线条和男主骑的自行车处在一个水平线上，视觉效果非常好。
本质上是个爱情片，同时又割舍不掉画猫这一部分，很牵强地用“world is beautiful”来串联，非常散乱。
看完才知道 导演的前一部作品是《现在去见你》 也是采用铁路来拍摄 就说看的好亲切
#TIFF21 第27场 以为是小清新治愈系，结果看完让我更emo。题材很好演员们也不差，却拍成了流水账，表现形式更像是剧集推进，少了些电影的感觉。除了主角，其他人更像是全员工具人，很难感受到男主和其他人之间的链接。猫猫真的是太可爱了，我心都化了呜呜呜。

感情细腻，画面温柔，演技在线。在镜头里的父亲不善言辞却内心强大，儿子天才却也困在了生活这道难题中。很感人，是一部好电影。
