The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 米国严重的赤裸的种族歧视，深度唤醒有色人种内心深处的对自由的向往，对人权的向往。偏执己见的往往是那些自恃清高手握生杀大权的人。
我不普通？我不正常？
真实历史事件改编，虽然不太懂南非历史、种族隔离制度、为了争取自由平等所做的牺牲，但是电影本身渐入佳境，高潮处戛然而止，还是有一定冲击力，不过也有不少问题铺垫不足。

在执行一次破坏加油站的重大任务时，三名黑人自由战士意识到他们惨遭陷害，警察已经做好了随时逮捕他们的准备。警察对他们展开了激烈的殊死追捕，他们被迫躲在银行内避难。
和《盛夏未来》有一定共通性，都是介由男同性恋还在挣扎身份认同或者情感认同的视角，真正去完成的反而是另一个少女的成长弧光。虽然它整体都要做得更虚幻也太美好，比起站在学校礼堂公开演讲撑同志这种白日梦一般的剧情，电影里拍出异性恋对同性恋态度最准确、真实的地方，应该是男主跳楼之后的那堂讨论课，当他不在场的时候，所有人都可以重新假装云淡风轻、毫不在乎，但前提必须是，他不在场。
生拉硬拽扯到了纳尔逊曼德拉头上，整个抓捕过程警察也太水了些。
温情满满的劫持人质事件，最后曼德拉出狱了，这是改庆祝还是……

我不了解一个男同喜欢上女生的概率有多少 但从电影里看出的 安藤同学从压抑自己到拆下围在身边那堵墙到可以和周围的人融合 是个自我和解的治愈之路。
还有三浦同学表彰大会上抢话筒告白这件事真的很中二热血日漫了😂
