剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     三星半。摄影上的中心构图、特写对切，低照度的打光带来的古典主义风格，艾格斯在美学上是花了心思的，更不用说还有他擅长的民俗元素，尽可能的在文化细节上还原古代的北欧，单从影像风格来看，这个充满神秘主义的北欧比科恩改编的苹果式审美的室内苏格兰强太多了。然而如果没有自己独特的理解就拿莎翁的原始文本去套模版，最后只会变得无趣乏味，我也相信艾格斯在制片商掣肘之下，影片离他最初的设想已经越来越远，最终变成美学和文本极其分裂的作品。对比之下，不得不说A24真是个好公司。
