The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 比《老爷车》稍微缺了一点点，但比《Mule》要好很多。

能一直拍老年人的故事也就是克林特了吧？依旧一流的表演。故事已经逐渐走向了温情小品，不失为一种智慧。
人老了就开始想在传承这个事情上做文章，老爷子也不例外。
舒适小品，多一星给我的英雄，东木jo太郎。
平淡無奇，簡潔直接，但結尾有點感動。東木爺子此等精力令我敬佩，有些許幾個鏡頭很有感覺，但估計是因為老爺子體力不如以往，沒時間雕琢。他現在就是想多拍。多一部就是賺，拍下去！此外，還有一些台詞；結合老爺子年輕時的精力；對過往是有反思的。
90岁的Clint Eastwood，老当益壮。
没有沉浸感，总是出戏，觉得这很假，都是演的，可能剧本太差了，小男孩演技也总让人出戏…珠玉在前，东木老了
影片三星，致敬老东木两星。很有些《完美的世界》和《老爷车》的影子，却更加平淡，但也更加乏善可陈。影片多少体现了耄耋之年的老东木的心境，刻意地回避和淡化了许多冲突。也祝愿东木长命百岁

关于这个人物没有可信度。老爷子的金句在最后，反西部牛仔的宣言。
东木暮年，让人唏嘘。希望老爷子能好好享受生活。
英雄迟暮，互相救赎，最后拥抱真爱，剧情不是很新鲜，感觉看的是情怀
其实他还健康的偶尔拍拍东西，我们就该感恩了不是吗，这就足够了。
这部影片无论是从剪辑还是选角都是垃圾，几乎没有看点，叙事碎片，不连贯的观感就像是片儿汤，但毕竟是东木老爷子的电影，虽然已经能看出力不从心的感觉了，不过还是有些台词值得回味。
为报旧主恩而寻子，其崇高的、英雄式的意义却不断被稀释、消解，难掩英雄迟暮之意。虽然得出人生无意义的感慨，但同时对生活本身保持着热忱，比如美好的风光、跨上马背的感觉、孩童和女人。
平平无奇，单纯有的只剩点情怀，西部片还是混碟市吧
