The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 3.5星。虽然极简的黑白影像很有个性，但整体观影过程仍然感觉电影是对舞台剧的简单移植。电影本身的力量可能来自于莎翁戏剧文本的力量，除此之外过于简单粗暴的淡出转场，造成了荧幕特有的代入感和共情感缺位。表演上佳，但不统一，割裂感较重。有的戏剧性风格很严重，有的则电影生活化。总而言之，这部片子像是扛着摄像机摄录了一部不错的舞台剧。
摄影水准很高 但是整个剧情 逻辑很平庸 毫无亮点 粗浅
对于the original text和plot的绝对熟悉是本片最基础的观影门槛了, 而Macbeth作为（可能是）我最喜欢的Shakespeare作品，看到Denzel Washington和Fran McDormand飙戏就忍不住要打四星以上。选择黑白的影像呈现，Joel Coen这次在mise-en-scene上下足了功夫，无论是建筑环境还是光影变化，都透露出一种冷峻却疯狂的气质。除了很喜欢影片对于the witches的处理外，McDormand对于Lady Macbeth的处理确实让人有耳目一新的感觉，野心并不是那么的外放，狠辣却不减分毫，最后的sleep walking scene更是一种后窗式的解构，让人对她的表演欲罢不能。
众所周知，科恩是黑泽明粉丝，黑泽明是莎翁粉丝。所以这部电影是不是透过的布层有点多了，反而费劲。
看过的第一版莎翁剧《麦克白》，极简的黑白摄影，紧凑刺激的剧情，男女黑白双煞的演技，地表最强的台词对白。
莎翁剧到底适合什么样的影像表现形式？室内+黑白+多象征
仿佛看了一个舞台剧，黑白片也不显得沉闷。喜欢配乐，另外表白弗兰西斯·麦克多蒙德，如果不是三封了，也许阿姨还能再来一个奥提
麦克白拍了很多部，从未有过最完美的版本，但每一部都是极具风格化的改编。
开头的舞台剧风格不适应，后面越看越精彩，整体的艺术效果不错。只是这片子跟“科恩”二字完全不搭

论观赏性，我觉得还不如无极…就很像一群学院派的话剧咖演过很多场后，在最后一场表演的时候用最好的团队进行拍摄。

强劲的心理暗示，让预言被说出的一刻已经必然引发完整的现实，也让付之行动的即刻就已注定其后所有的代价。视觉艺术加上场景精简的科恩版麦克白，并没有焕发出特别的光彩，甚至都能说缺乏新意和趣味，这可能是本片最让人意想不到的部分了。麦克白和其夫人的塑造并没展示出更新鲜的角度和相对深入的挖掘，主题的呈现也难说充分，除了美则美矣的光影，只有Kathryn Hunter的三女巫带来了一点惊喜。三星半
