The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 用心做得声画音乐可以给五星，但是这抠脚的编剧扣两分，不用看下去都知道是美利坚小人鱼日本分鱼了，强烈推荐主题曲，很热血。

【PIFF】女版《慕伶，伟明，一鸣》，通过失智症题材聚焦女性的困境，这种困境是多方面的，首先家庭困境：照顾生活不能自理的失智老人过程中的艰难与不舍，其次是情感困境：也正是家庭困境导致女性压抑情感欲望委曲求全，本片最高明的是通过女主戏剧演员这一身份将这种困境扩展到了文化层面上，一针见血。不得不说，一个男导演能拍出不带男性凝视的影片就值得鼓励，更别谈其在人性关怀上所下的功夫。最后回归故土的魔幻现实主义结尾，既致敬了贾樟柯也与《慕伶，伟明，一鸣》有异曲同工之妙。

很平常的家庭故事，唯独公园烟饼那场戏有些突兀，而且最后一场戏多余了，女儿给父亲洗澡是全片亮点。两位老人演技很自然；年轻演员台本痕迹过重，没有生活逻辑。掌机的情绪节奏控制太差。
