The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 真的挺有意思的，印度拍这个题材不容易了，拍的也不错了👍
出乎意料的精彩，一部基于潮汕的本土爱情电影，人物的表演也不刻意，似乎就在呈现潮汕男与外地女现实的爱情生活，片中的几首潮汕歌旋律优美动听，份外的收获。今年几部小众电影里，较为出彩的一部。
各种折中手法，后面给了个HE ，或许是现实太艰难了。角色设定Crop和教师真的讽刺。
故事并不新颖，父母与子女新旧观念的碰撞，影片中展示的潮汕文化独具一格，演员演绎在线，部分情节上掉线，没有代入感。
