The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 不知为啥，我还蛮喜欢这部尴里尴尬的电影的。
5/10给我这种观影体验的今年只有两部，一部是《算牌人》，一部是《热带往事》。自带一种迷人的氛围，但这种氛围究其根本却让人觉得冗长无比。影片有一股日式黑暗的氛围（导演曾拍摄过《三岛由纪夫传》），由一个糜烂的创口开始过往，一切如图鱼眼镜头般变形成不可逆转。扑克牌牵扯一种连锁反应，和故事形成轴转体系，但故事如此朴素真不应该。
关于救赎的故事，赌场只是背景，预告片和正片是两部电影。
4.0，某种能控制精神的调度。主观的、暧昧的表达，在前四分之三处堆积出了情绪的迷幻，欲罢不能。可惜最后又莫名开始写实？观感被迫抽离出来（和第一归正会相同的失败点）
两段扭曲的鱼眼镜头加分，可惜的是后来电影跟德州扑克没啥关系了，我就是来看德扑的啊
美军监狱里的刺激场景使拉斯维加斯的赌场黯然失色。

施拉德的角色研究仍然扎实，稳健的情节策略却未能如归正会般打出一手制胜牌。
牌局与社会进程共行，人可以离去，赌注但不能停。孤寂的新地形摄影延伸至电影，从影调到白色幕布，它们概括的不止是现代社会本身，还包括经济下一系列的衍生物。话说没风格就是最大的风格，而21世纪的人类恰巧就属于前者，但当视角转移到酷刑方面，人类却充满了“创意”，那我怎么能用“动物性”来描述幕布后的血腥呢？
老绿魔客串男主的师傅， 戏不多但蛮有画龙点睛的味道
故事的抽离加分，但总体感觉上有点儿明显的刻意。赌场上的USA必胜叫人忍俊不住
除了那句“usa！usa!”还有极其敷衍的床戏之外，没有任何可看的地方，太无聊了！不3倍速放完根本坚持不下去！
感情上来说，非常温吞，感觉会是一场大雨，结果最后只是一场毛毛雨。本片的唯一看点大概是Oscar Isaac，刮了胡子，梳着背头，又是另外一种魅力。

扑克手的特写，广角长镜头的梦魇，迷茫的自我救赎，对布列松的招魂，施拉德的回光返照。
有些镜头蛮有意思的，大段的广角和监狱里的百态，很妙。

AMC 谜之故事，谜之摄影，谜之配乐，最谜的还是感情戏和女主的服装，怀疑造型师把所有精力都放在了Isaac身上了。
