三星半。巴瑞·莱文森带着教科书般的发挥归来，一部没有任何废话的传记片，扎实又流畅。即便剧本脉络较为常规，但这样的完成度着实令人景仰。道格拉斯·克莱斯利用光线和声音的变化作为剪辑点，无法忽视的突出。本·福斯特优秀到，如果明年初奥斯卡男主提名没有他，那就是整个学院的奇耻大辱。

剧情很老套，而且中间环节没有太跌宕起伏，看下来没有很燃。
