The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 柴油朋克+废土朋克 30多年哼哧哼哧搞了这么多模型用了这么多特效，只拍出一个过时的故事。放在1990年，也很老套。（现在7.4分 估计最后在6.5左右 剧情太松散还是默片 二倍速都嫌慢）

可能有文化，宗教隔离导致的不理解，难感受。总之个人角度觉得是过誉了
历史的框架下试图用双方立场的两个好友切入讲故事限制还是挺多的吧。
从硬件说，这已经不是电影了，是被拍下来的行为艺术。从软件说，片子拥有不低的立意，大概讲了三件事，一是地狱发生自人的恨意，在地狱的系统里生命的一切活动将只化作对彼此施加的痛苦；二是地狱的发生是必然的结果；三是轮回不止。整体是了不起的东西，硬说缺点的话，一是血腥程度还是会产生观影障碍，二是结论太绝望，没有涉及出离的解脱。
能耐着性子看完就很不容易，那有时间去思考在表达什么？！
极致的实验地狱绘卷，集大成之作的cult邪典工业作品，三十年的创作的定格逐帧动画，呈现出来的是如同噩梦般的表演，本片主创过于沉浸自我挥洒脑洞的世界，导致有些段落实在不能接受，越到后面越来越迷幻与疯狂，一切都回到原点，什么宇宙大爆炸，人类起源以及神秘丰碑等等，不得不说虽然过于猎奇，但是当中塑模和场景搭建以及各种人事物的造型做工非常了得…
没有一句台词，层出不穷的怪物，充斥着黑暗血腥场面，奈何我就是不太感冒。
在走入高清的视觉之后 一切都不再显得神秘诡谲了
看不懂，但我大受震撼。不过我看到了稀疏的中国味。
零散的看出一些隐喻，各种朋克风的末世设定很迷人

暗黑邪典，够刺激，最后是致敬2001太空漫游吗，我好像看见了黑石碑
重新为张伯伦翻案，或者说还原出更务实复杂的政治人物，此片相当成功，也得益于之前研究和小说的基础，Irons的表演入木三分。造成戏剧冲突的小人物视角和动作其实并无关大局，更为可信。
