The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 是个精彩的好故事，仅此而已。压迫式的直白观点输出真的爱不起来。
13分钟时的演技，由难为情——不情愿——假意趋同——附和——矛盾挣扎——心甘情愿。
当然，政治官司暗藏了许多猫腻，不仅仅是美国的陪审团制度就能左右，1960年代的反越游行，夹杂了美国底层阶级各色各样的人物表演。

這要重重的打醒那些老是認為美國人會為你出兵征戰的人的美夢，不要再異想天開，別劃錯電影內核的重點了。
艾伦索金的政治倾向真是个迷……而我已经对这种要做爱不要作战的口号式表面热血完全无感了。
难得不枯燥的历史剧，有趣的角色、小团体和法庭戏都是看点

换到现在的话说，如果批评和反对不自由，那么赞美和拥护无意义。
真正艰难的不在于与谁抗争，而是坦然呈现自己。交叉剪辑叙事，人物也不少，略凌乱。即便大家都知道在推的圆石会滑落，至少别让它变得太大太重，否则推不动会被压死。
美国的强大在于，即使有这么多的不同意见、质疑、批判，国家的某个组织也不会禁止它发出声音，所以，究竟是在单一的声音中看世界更好，还是在扬抑同在的声音中看世界更好？说回电影，导演选择用大量蒙太奇剪辑手法，把一个较为复杂的、多个利益群体、多种诉求的抗议故事，较为简单又诙谐幽默地给观众叙述了出来，演员的表演也可以，其实这种电影，拍出来就4星了。
