The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 同是科技不发达的年代，童年的欢乐却很相似。看看我女儿总觉得她很可怜，除了屏幕就是屏幕。

导演自己对那个年代的个人记忆，也编织了那一代童年里的各种元素，电影，音乐，科技，孩童们不知轻重的玩乐，似乎人命不值钱一般的生活态度，那些复古的影像用动画的形式再现，应该能给不少人带来共鸣吧。

与其说是回到60年代，不如说是让所有人重返童年。房前草坪上无忧无虑地嬉戏，父母职业在伙伴间的攀比，坐在电影院里刷过漫长的夏季，黑白的电视机突然仿佛涂上彩色的画笔，一盘盘精致的食物勾起了满满的食欲。那些可爱的画面里都是曾经的自己。

甚至没有一个像样的字幕，可见话语权的杀伤力让你甚至连辩白的机会都没有。
一个很棒的美国六七十年代怀旧篇，中间穿插了小镇青年的幻想。将当时的童年生活娓娓道来，很细水长流。

我很好奇，好莱坞如此喜欢拍根据真实事件改变的电影，为什么没有找这个题材？是美国不允许吗？

拍得还算不错，絮絮叨叨地带观众走入导演自己的少年时代。要说共鸣是难，却很容易代入自己的年少时光，陷入一些怀念之中。
也许我被欧美英雄主义或者说完美主义荼毒，看到俄国电影这种毫无圆满的故事是很压抑的。
里面的游戏我小时候居然也玩过诶，就是那个手拉手让对面人撞过来的那个游戏
