The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 911同人衍生之“迷失”之音乐剧官摄录像，但不在live现场的观感总会打折扣，所以并没有很进入剧情，音乐没有很突出，不过在特殊时期守望相助的情感倒是颇能打动人，但这种美式主流正能量的鸡汤味有多浓，也是冷暖自知的事。

上线apple tv的流媒体音乐剧，看的官摄版，20年过去了，911事件还能赚足人们的眼泪，疫情期间看格外感动。幸福的小镇比大都市还开放包容，十几个演员用口音表演群像，不要忘记历史，不要忘记人类的灾难与高光时刻。
音乐也很棒！

编排得太好了。911事件对美利坚民族来说意义非凡，由此诞生的这部作品适合全世界观看。舞台上演员在个人形象和社群形象之间灵活转换，女性、性少数群体、少数族裔、不同宗教在这里汇集。而人性的力量核心从未改变，带我们离开黑暗，带我们离开灾难。致离开的人们，你们从未真正离开。冰球场是世界上最大的步入式冰箱、几十台电话、开放图书馆专供人做宗教祷告、收容动物……我看到了人道的光辉。“不必找寻。不求得到更多安慰，但求安慰别人。不求被理解，但求理解他人。我不求被爱，但求全心全意地爱。”
是优秀的作品，但不是我会喜欢的音乐剧。里面从舞台后方向前拍的段落挺意外的。
