剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     对于向来不在看之前了解演职员表等背景的人来说，看到是乔尔科恩导演挺惊讶的，一个是他脱离科恩兄弟这一导演组合，再一个科恩兄弟的作品一向是无限接近现实，再加上自编的剧本，代表性的如《冰血暴》，而本片改编自莎士比亚的经典戏剧《麦克白》，很明显和科恩之前的风格大不相同，影片采用1.37:1接近正方形的比例和黑白色调，布景极简，作为电影舞台感更重，脸部特写居多，关注点集中在演员演技上。而台词也充满原著中的诗性，。
