The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 看到75岁的Swanki描绘她在路上所见的美景，说哪怕在此时死去也不枉此生的时候，眼泪顺着脸颊滑下来了。跟随Fern游荡美国西部的两个小时有好多这样让人感慨的时刻，在影片结束她重回Empire旧居时，我想到开头那个在亚马逊打工的女生的纹身，“家是一个单词，还是你永远放在心里的东西？”
不止于公路片，不是漫无目的地追求自由，而是除了自由已一无所有。
这是一场孤独的狂欢，而我，只能是我，是最棒的女主……

对话写得太好了，几个配角的对白都令人落泪。个体叙事高于一切。
回忆在，人就在。
我也不是一无所有，我会整理好自己的行囊继续前进。
我承认我欣赏水平底，打我看电影起就对这种类型的电影接受不能。

在一片苍茫与寂寥之中剖开了一些实际上很尖锐的社会问题，碎片化的叙事蛮见功力，但总觉得不够深刻又没能达到理想中的那种境界。
Not for me, not for now. 我看得毫无波澜，甚至有点茫然。
世界上有很多不得不上路的人，人们觉得他们无家可归，但在他们心里，四海皆为家。敬这些人的勇敢，真挚和心怀自由。
游牧之行，无依的心；翻山越岭的迁徙，不过是内心的一场放逐。视角虚实难分，风情画式影像用旅途的不易映衬着心灵的苦修，将其视作解谜或解脱似乎都并不影响它若有似无的社会性；阶级与落寞在一切的最终都形成了忧伤的通感，意韵凄苦却坦荡、悠远而迷人。
值得一看，但是获奖觉得有点牵强。3.5，因为众所周知的原因给四星
